 Audiences will learn the story behind Eban’s Bakehouse, started by creators Eric Braddock and Adrienne Novak. The story will tell of two professional chefs with a passion for excellent food, prepared with craft and care, using the best and purest ingredients available. The show will educate about Eric and Adrienne’s mission to enable people with wheat and gluten allergies to enjoy the best tasting, finest quality breads and baked goods, and will explore how their gluten-free products are able to accomplish this without sacrificing taste, texture, quality, or variety

Focusing on GenoPalate; a company that analyzes genes to help people to eat and live healthier; Advancements will discover how GenoPalate uses DNA to create personalized nutrition and food recommendations, and will show viewers how small variants in an individual’s genes can lead to drastic differences in the way their body processes food. The segment will also provide insight into how an individual metabolizes nutrients and absorbs certain vitamins, and how the body requires more or less of specific nutrients depending on their genotype.

With a look at the Minnesota Soybean Research and Promotion Council (MSR&PC), this segment of Advancements will highlight the council’s three main objectives to open new markets, increase the uses for soybeans, and to invest in research to improve farmers bottom lines. The show will also inform viewers about how research funded by MSR&PC contributes to improved yields, greater variety availability, environmentally friendly road products, fuel and much more.

Advancements will also explore BEAR; a company active in the natural snacking segment that is dedicated to meeting the needs of the present generations, without compromising the opportunities of the next generations. With a behind-the-scenes look at BEAR’s story, spectators will see how it all started from a simple need to make being healthy a little bit easier and a whole lot tastier.
