DMG Productions to educate about innovative self-driving laboratories and automation solutions.

Jupiter, FL— Advancements with Ted Danson will focus on breakthroughs in technology, innovation, and materials discovery during 3Q/2020. Check local listings for more information.

In this episode, Advancements will explore how the Chemical Operating System for Industry 4.0 (ChemOS Inc.), an early-stage AI/ML software startup, reimagines innovation by enabling the lab of the future. The ChemOS software platform allows companies and research labs to optimize processes, increase productivity, and move from automation to autonomous experimentation, as part of the ongoing digital transformation.

Initially developed by two of its Co-Founders at Harvard University, ChemOS accelerates technology development, innovation, and materials discovery by orchestrating self-driving laboratories. Viewers will learn how ChemOS integrates Artificial Intelligence (AI), machine learning, high-performance computing, and robotics with natural sciences into a closed-loop Materials Acceleration Platform (MAP), or self-driving laboratory.

“At ChemOS Inc., we share a strong sense of purpose and believe in a world where AI and machine learning can help accelerate the development of breakthrough technologies and advance science to find solutions to some of humanity’s biggest challenges. Everything we do is based around this goal of augmenting scientists and researchers, and advancing cutting-edge technologies developing a fully integrated, modular software platform that can accelerate process optimization and materials discovery by orders of magnitude,” said Co-Founder & CEO, Dr. Hermann Tribukait.

Audiences will also learn about some of ChemOS’ current applications, which include materials discovery for more efficient and durable organic solar cells, materials for energy storage, and optimization of chemical reactions that are common in the pharma/biotech industry, among other applications.

“ChemOS makes process optimization and materials discovery faster, smarter, and cheaper,” said Brett Ferrigan, senior producer for the Advancements series. “We look forward to exploring this on the Advancements program.”
